For their wedding, Laura and Stefano have chosen one of the most beautiful church in the Sorrento peninsula and, I believe, in all Italy: the “Santissima Annunziata” Church in Vico Equense.
This little, edgy cliff, church overlooking the sea is characterized by a terrace with a breathtaking view. An ideal place to welcome guests and to live and capture, through the shots, the exciting moments that precede and follow the ceremony: the arrival of the spouse, the bride and groom exiting the church and the classic “throwing” of rice.
As I mentioned before, the church is located on a rocky ridge overlooking the sea and has an interesting history.
The church dates to the fourteenth century and is one of the rare examples of Gothic architecture in Campania. Until 1818 it was the bishop head site and the cathedral of the diocese. It was built between 1320 and 1330 on the ruins of the ancient Roman temple of Cybele.
Outside the church, a large square where the view is lost in a panorama that makes the heartbeat go faster. Naples and the coast can be admired in all their unparalleled glory.
To make the day as pleasant as possible and to allow guests to enjoy the event in total relaxation, Laura and Stefano chose Castello Giusso as the location for the reception.
The Castle is located a short distance from the Church, which is not common, and all guests have greatly appreciated it! Obviously, the choice was also ideal for the photographer!
The preparations handled by the Wedding Planner Francesca Varriale made every detail perfect and finely cared for.
Laura chose a white dress by Passaro Sposa with a classic tone and no frills, in line with the spirit of marriage.
Very amusing was the moment after the launch of rice, when the bride and groom went to the castle escorted by a group of artists playing some Neapolitan popular music.
Approaching the restaurant, we took some beautiful shots among the characteristic alleys of Vico Equense.
Simplicity and authenticity, two elements that have always characterized my work as a Naples wedding photographer as leitmotiv of all the shots: from the moment of preparation of the bride and groom at home to the most cheerful and light-hearted moments of the reception.
In this wedding in Vico Equense every detail was perfect and gave me the opportunity to make a wedding reportage of which I am particularly proud and that I always leaf through with great emotion.
